002 Group Terms and Conditions V1.0

Last updated: 16 June 2026. These terms apply to anyone creating, managing or administering a Group that uses 002 booking, payment, session organisation, membership or related platform features.

1. Groups

In these terms, a Group means any club, playing group, association, organiser, tenant, venue group or other organisation that uses 002 to organise players, sessions, bookings, memberships, payments or related activities. We use Group because 002 supports both formal clubs and informal groups of players. The person accepting these terms represents that they have authority to create or administer the Group.

2. Scope of Services

002 provides and maintains a software platform for the Group, including booking, membership, payment-processing support, member administration, Group Credit handling, round robin and league organisation tools, rating and eligibility features, notifications and related functionality made available by 002 from time to time.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, 002 is a platform provider and is not the supplier of the Group's underlying sessions, memberships or other services offered by the Group to its members.

3. Group Credit Mechanism

002 operates a credit mechanism as part of its booking and payment system. Member cancellations, volunteer or duty manager entitlements, promotional credits, manual adjustments and other eligible events may be recorded as Group Credit for use against future eligible services offered by the issuing Group through the platform.

Group Credit is a limited-use booking credit. It is not a bank account, deposit facility or stored-value account with cash withdrawal rights. It is intended to be used only for eligible goods or services offered by the issuing Group through the platform.

4. Group Responsibilities

The Group is responsible for supplying the underlying Group services, adopting and administering cancellation, refund, credit, transfer and expiry settings, and handling member enquiries and disputes relating to Group services except to the extent caused by a platform error attributable to 002.

The Group must ensure its conduct, policies and member-facing terms comply with all applicable laws, including the Australian Consumer Law. The Group must not represent that 002 is responsible for supplying the Group's sessions, memberships or other services unless that is expressly agreed by 002 in writing.

5. Member-Facing Terms

The Group must maintain clear member-facing terms dealing with bookings, cancellations, Group Credit, volunteer or earned credit, refunds, transfers, expiries and any restrictions on use of credit.

002 may require use of standard member-facing wording, notices or disclosures, including the 002 User Terms, where reasonably necessary to reflect how the platform operates or to reduce legal and operational risk.

6. Fees and Payment Flows

For bookings, memberships and other payments processed through the platform, the current fee is $0.67 + 3.3% per transaction, including payment processing fees charged by Stripe. 002 may change this fee by updating the applicable fee structure or otherwise notifying the Group.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise, 002 collects and processes payments through the platform as payment facilitator for the Group and may receive funds from end users before deducting agreed fees, third-party processing costs, refunds, chargebacks, reversals and other agreed amounts before settlement to the Group.

7. Data Ownership and Access

Group-specific operational data relating to the Group's activities, members, bookings, memberships, credits, communications and transactions remains under the Group's control, subject to 002's rights to host, process, use and retain that data to operate, maintain, secure, improve and support the platform and comply with law.

002 retains control of platform-level account and service data, the platform, source code, object code, designs, workflows, documentation, know-how and related intellectual property.

8. Privacy and Compliance

Each party must comply with the privacy and data protection laws applicable to it. The Group is responsible for obtaining any member consents, notices or policy acceptances required in connection with the Group's collection and use of personal information through the platform, except to the extent 002 expressly undertakes a particular compliance step.

9. Hosting, Infrastructure and Continuity

002 will use reasonable efforts to maintain continuity of service, but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. If 002 becomes unavailable or incapable of providing material operational support for a continuous period of more than 21 days, 002 or its nominated representative will provide reasonable access to the Group's data and available transition information reasonably necessary for the Group to maintain operations or appoint a third party.

10. Suspension and Termination

Either party may terminate the relationship on reasonable written notice. 002 may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect security or integrity, respond to suspected fraud, comply with law or third-party provider requirements, or deal with serious payment, compliance or operational risk.

11. Liability, Indemnity and Risk

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 002 is not liable for interruptions caused by third-party providers, banks, telecommunications failures or internet outages, the Group's own policies or legal compliance failures, or indirect, consequential or special loss.

The Group indemnifies 002 against claims, losses, liabilities and reasonable costs arising from the Group's cancellation, refund or Group Credit policies, supply of Group services, breach of law, or misleading statements to members about the platform or payment outcomes, except to the extent caused by 002's fraud, wilful misconduct or breach of law.

12. Changes, Governing Law and Contact

002 may update these terms from time to time by giving reasonable notice, including by email or publishing an updated version on a designated 002 terms page. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance unless the Group has notified 002 otherwise before that date.

These terms are governed by the law in force in Victoria, Australia. The parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and courts competent to hear appeals from them. Notices or concerns should be sent to support@002.net.au.
